'Cuando' is a known brand when it comes to the entertaining society in Romania. With a couple of locations already opened in Bucharest, we were challenged to design a unique space to host a caffe & bistro. The design of this project aimed to create a very warm and intimate atmosphere in order to reveal the perfect place for one to enjoy a quiet lunch or morning coffee. The warmth comes from the materials and finishes: everything is about natural walnut wood, velvet upholstery and hidden LED lighting systems to enhance the intimacy of the place. The design is contemporary, high-end and exquisite as the consumers of this particular brand are used to. accented with the burgundy and ocre velvet chairs, along with the caramel leather tapestry of the bar and booths downstairs. We had to enhance the idea of having 2 different levels, so we designed a unique, minimalist staircase, delicately lightened and decorated with natural orchids. All this mixed with the lounge music,great food and amazing people, create an extraordinary "homie" space, the downtown corner for you to read a good book, have coffee with friends or even a romantic dinner, under the intimacy of the carefully designed lighting systems. The hudge windows towards the street add light and life to the spacial experience. Cuando breathes sunshine in the morning and exhales hot chocolate into the depth of the night.
Quattro Stagioni Restaurant

We had to come up with a completely new look for the well-known Quattro Stagioni Restaurant located right inside the park. Developing the concept, we designed 2 different areas: the ground floor, a 48 people capacity space and the first floor, a 91 people capacity space, which also contains the bar and the main part of the kitchen. The challenge was to redesign the interior space in order to create an upscale, contemporary and elegant atmosphere; all this, without altering the old layout. The main elements we brought in were the natural trees that embrace the old rusty wooden pillars. So the feeling that you're having a luxurious dinner in the middle of the forest was enhanced by the custom-made booths, high-end materials, finishes and tableware. The look is warm, intimate and cozy, as the comfort is brought by the textile beige tapestry and the
atmosphere is highlightened by the spectacular ceiling crystal lamps. The walls are either raw concrete, either upholstered with soft textile, either dressed up with backlit translucent alabaster stone. The different dinning and service areas are completely separated, using different circulations for each one of them, in order to enhance the client's dinning and social experience.
